BJ and Nancy have been business and life partners since day one, meeting each other at the Daily Journal where they worked together. While he was the photo editor and she worked in the advertising department, a love blossomed into a marriage.
Within BJ and Nancy’s 31 years, they’ve started a family, maintained the studio and continue to grow stronger together with new adventures on the horizon and show no signs of slowing down.
Bill (BJ) has been privileged to provide professional photography to our community for over thirty five years and claims he has “never worked a day in (his) life.” His claims to fame include husband, father, grandfather, dog lover, and fickle Bears fan.
As Photography Editor for The Daily Journal for over 23 years, he covered all of our local schools and specialized in sports photography. With a degree from Bradley University in Photojournalism, Radio & Television, and News Writing – BJ teaches photography at Olivet Nazarene University.
Behind every great man is an exceptional woman. Nancy is an amazing mother to her two daughters and four doggies, a fantastic grandmother to her grandsons and an unbelievably skilled chef in the kitchen. She is happiest when creating a new cookie recipe and with culinary school in her near future- there’s no telling what this Italian mother will create!
