Image Group Goes on the Road!
There is a popular saying that states, “Behind every successful man, there is a strong, wise, and hardworking woman.” With that said, I’d like to introduce our owner, Nancy! Married to BJ for 27 years, she has been that strong, wise, and hardworking woman the quote speaks of. She can attest to the hard work BJ puts in at the studio as well as at home. Without her, this business couldn’t be up and running!
Unfortunately, at the studio we don’t get to see Nancy everyday. She’s more of “the wizard behind the curtain.” She does so much yet gets little credit. In fact, Image Group has a great relationship with the Manteno Veterans Home because of her inspiration to reach out and touch the lives of the veterans and their loved ones. We not only take portraits of the residents but we get to visit with them and hear their wonderful stories. Had it not been for Nancy and her heart for caring for others, we never would have gotten the chance to connect with the veterans in the way that we have.
Often during the fall, Nancy will get home from working her day job of being a postal clerk at the Bradley Post Office and process hundreds of payments from our school yearbook days! She works around the clock being the best wife, sister, mother and grandmother she can be! She’s such a family woman that her life is filled with joy from her loved ones, including BJ, Jamie, and Annie! When Nancy isn’t at work, you can find her whipping something up in the kitchen! She has a passion for cooking and joining her loved ones around a table while enjoying her delicious creations. Hats off to you Nancy, because I don’t know any one of us that could still be standing after doing everything that you do, especially long enough to make a delicious meal!
Nancy has many top hats as you can see, but her favorite involves two sources of her pride and joy: Nolan and Caden, of course! Even after her long work days, she is always ready to see her grandsons and cheer them on at a school performance, little league game, or learning to ride a bike! They affectionately refer to her as “Nana.” Here, you can see the joy Nana gets giving her grandsons Christmas presents:

As I said before, Nancy does so much around the studio yet receives little credit, so here’s to you Nancy! Know that what you do is greatly appreciated and we love you so much here at Image Group. Just as BJ is a fantastic boss, Nance is the fantastic partner he needs to make their business (and family for that matter!) work so well. When we are in our peak season, working around the clock, Nancy is the voice of reason. When any of us have a problem of any sort, she is open and willing to talk with you. I don’t know of many owners that are willing to sit and talk about your personal lives while also giving you advice, which is why we are so lucky to have this amazing woman supporting us. Thank you Nancy for all that you do behind the scenes!
