We’d like to interrupt your normal broadcasting program to announce: Image Group hit the road! The main program we use to produce your student’s yearbook photos was created by a man working at Advanced Photographic Solutions, LLC (APS Lab) in Cleveland, TN. We use this program SO OFTEN and are in CONSTANT contact with our friends at the lab. So, we are excited to announce that we went to a training course at the APS lab in Cleveland! We spoke with the creator to go over the ins and outs of these programs and learned all the details in order to best serve you — Our clients!
Three of your groupies went to Tennessee for this training, and we could not have been more excited! We were sure to bring back pictures of all of our adventures to share with you all! So brace yourselves… because we had a lot of adventures! The following photos are only a select few from our travels and our first day at the APS lab:
We had a great first day, so we were so excited for the second day at the lab! We were going to take a tour of the production facilities and since we are so involved at Image Group in the entire process of taking your photos, editing your photos, sending them to the lab, and then when they come in- delivering them, we were so excited to be able to see how the volume printing production process worked.
Once our adventures at the lab ended, the spontaneous adventures began! We drove around Cleveland to do some snooping through the town and we came across a great factory. Then we decided to take some advice from our yearbook contact at the lab, Jason, and find this river on a mountain…
we succeeded and let me say, it. was. breathtaking!!
What do you get from a diner that has EVERYTHING?! Comfort food of course! This food was so amazingly delicious, we had to get our dessert to go…. Little did we know… our desserts were bigger than our dinners (and our heads)!
Our last stop on our adventure tour-Nashville on the way home! After eating about the well-known Pancake Pantry, we saw parts of Music Row, the infamous walking bridge, the country music walk of fame, and the coolest record shop on Broadway!
If you’re ever looking for a cool adventure, think about going to Tennessee!! We absolutely loved going to the lab, meeting all the people we talk with over the phone almost daily, and getting to have fun adventures with friends. Thank you so much, APS, for having us and teaching us so much. Our partnership means a great deal to us! Paul, good luck and congratulations on your early retirement! We hope to see y’all soon!
