Image Group Goes on the Road!
Every Sunday evening in the month of June, the city of Portage, IN (my home town), shows up to cheer on the Challenger League. With big hearts and bright spirits, kids who wouldn’t normally get the chance to play baseball, take the field.
When it’s time for the 2nd inning stretch, Mr. Chicken invites players and fans to join him on the mound for a little chicken dance!
The final Sunday of the month is always a cause for celebration. Free food and slushies for everyone!
Trophies, backpacks, and personalized baseball cards are given to each player. The joy on their faces is enough to melt every heart in the stands!
Nothing is sweeter than getting to watch a whole community come together in love and support for some of it’s coolest, most courageous kids!
