Image Group Goes on the Road!
Born and raised in Limestone, it’s no secret to anyone that knows me that I have a soft spot for Herscher School District. I attended 2 of the 4 grade schools and then attended Herscher High School. In fact, some of my favorite teachers still work in the district, but I’m not naming names. So when the boss asked me to photograph the Limestone Jr High dance, I was kind of shocked and crazy nervous and pretty excited all at once.
The thing is, I’m not a trained 
photographer, so “shaking in my boots” didn’t even begin to describe my anxiousness and excitement to take on my first solo event (my boys..not nearly as excited as me…having mom at your junior high dance isn’t “cool”).
Lack of training aside, I have a great teacher/mentor in BJ. And when he says “I trust you”…well that’s the best compliment this girl could ask for! I’m proud to report that everything went smoothly! I’ve shared just two of my favorite photos from the dance. Wish I could share them all with you. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! These kids definitely have personality!
