You know that you’ve had a spectacular weekend when you’re still psyched about it on Monday morning!
Saturday, Jaqueline and I headed north to the annual Taste of Joliet. Two Words…BLOWN AWAY! JPD knows how to throw a party! Joliet Memorial Stadium was packed to the gills with country fans – many of them teenage girls dreaming for a chance to meet the adorable Hunter Hayes. Being a HUGE fan of country music, I was pretty stoked about seeing four pretty talented artists (Including the GORGEOUS & baby blue eyed Dustin Lynch, Maggie Rose, Easton Corbin, and previously mentioned Hunter Hayes.)
-Brittany
While the festival itself is a blast with the food vendors, carnival, and beer tent- the lineup on Saturday of country stars was certainly the biggest attraction for Brittany and I.
We call this “work,” but let me tell you- I’d do this voluntarily! (Don’t tell BJ, haha.)

Maggie Rose opened the show. Even though we only knew a couple of her songs- both of us totally fell in love with her spirit and her music!
Y’all should definitely check her out.
Next up was Brittany’s super crush- Dustin Lynch. It’s all about those dimples!
Isn’t Easton Corbin absolutely adorable? I mean- look at that face, y’all.
The amount of people that came out was UNREAL.
Performance photography is arguably my favorite (probably because live music is my favorite- it’s the Austinite in me.)
You just can’t fabricate the raw emotion and energy that’s found at concert venues.
Thanks so much to JPD for having us out every year!
Can’t wait to see what you’ve got cooking for us next year!
